1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Sastio, we may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
• Submission information — app ideas, monthly budget ranges, and contact details you provide when submitting a project (including as a guest).
• Profile information — updates you make to your name, phone number, or profile photo on your device.
• Usage and device data — basic technical information such as device type, app version, and approximate diagnostics needed to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Match app ideas with developers who may be interested
• Allow developers to contact you about submissions you make
• Create and manage your account and track your submissions
• Send service-related notices and respond to support requests
• Protect the security and integrity of Sastio
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited cases:

• Developers / matching — when you submit an idea, we may share relevant details (such as your idea, budget, and contact information) with developers so they can evaluate interest and reach out to you.
• Service providers — trusted vendors who help us host, authenticate, email, or operate the Service (for example cloud and email providers), under obligations to protect your data.
• Legal — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sastio or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

4. Guest submissions

You can submit an idea without creating an account. Guest submissions still require contact details so developers can reach you. If you later create an account with a matching email or phone number, we may link those past submissions to your account so you can track them.

5. Photos and device permissions

If you choose a profile photo, the app may request access to your photo library. Photos you select are used to display your profile picture. You can deny permission and still use the rest of the Service.

6. Data retention

We retain account and submission information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your history, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

Sastio is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices

• Update your name or phone number in Profile when signed in
• Sign out of your account at any time
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law

10. International users

Sastio may be operated from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, you understand your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sastio Service. By accessing or using Sastio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Sastio is

Sastio is a marketplace-style platform that lets people submit app ideas and related details, and helps connect those ideas with developers who may be interested. Sastio does not itself build your app unless separately agreed in writing, and does not guarantee that any developer will contact you, accept your project, or complete work.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use Sastio. If you use Sastio on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Submissions and content

• You retain ownership of the app ideas and content you submit.
• You grant Sastio a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and share your submissions as needed to operate the Service, including sharing with developers for matching and outreach.
• You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law.
• Do not submit unlawful, harmful, misleading, or abusive content, or content that includes others’ confidential information without permission.

5. Developer relationships

Any engagement between you and a developer is solely between those parties. Sastio is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for quality, pricing, timelines, payments, or outcomes of developer work unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate written contract.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it
• Scrape, spam, or abuse messaging or submission features
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

7. Intellectual property

The Sastio name, logos, app, website design, and software are owned by Sastio or its licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license is granted to you.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SASTIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY MATCHING OR OUTREACH WILL OCCUR.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SASTIO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SASTIO FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sastio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using Sastio at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
